About blisssora

The small Sydney studio behind some very good holidays

We're five travel nerds, one office dog, and a wall covered in maps. Since 2014 we've been designing Australia trips for people who want more than a package tour.

Our story

Started with a van and a hunch

In 2014, Amelia quit her hotel job, bought a battered campervan, and spent eight months driving every coastal and desert road she'd been recommending sight-unseen.

The hunch: travellers don't need more options — they need someone who's actually been. She came back with 40 notebooks and a waiting list. blisssora grew from there, slowly and on purpose.

2014

The notebook year

Eight months on the road, 40 notebooks of route notes, and the first twelve clients — all friends of friends.

2017

Redfern, we have an office

Moved into our Wunderlich Lane studio. First hire: a guide-turned-designer who knew the Top End better than anyone.

2020

The pivot nobody planned

Borders closed, so we built hyper-local NSW escapes. Turned out Australians wanted exactly that — our busiest year yet.

2023

Evenings, upgraded

Launched our 18+ after-dark collection: casino hotel stays and casino events for travellers who like sparkle after sunset.

2026

3,800 trips and counting

Still small, still Sydney, still answering every first email personally. Some things we won't scale.

What we believe

Three rules we don't break

They've survived twelve years, one pandemic and a few very demanding honeymooners.

Listen first, plan second

The best itinerary question isn't "where to?" — it's "how do you want to feel on day three?"

Fewer clients, deeper trips

We cap how many trips we design each month. If we're full, we'll say so — and say when we'll have room.

Keep earning the trip

92% of travellers rebook with us. We treat every itinerary like it's the one that gets us invited back.

The crew

People who'll actually answer your email

Small team, big map knowledge. This is who you're trusting your holiday with.
